Banks in Qatar

Qatar consists some of the biggest banks in the region. In total, the country has 18 banks of which 11 are Qatari financial institutions while 7 are foreign holdings. Local banks in Qatar have greater holdings and they dominate the banking sector with higher credit ratings. Some of the top banks of Qatar are Qatar National Bank, Qatar Islamic Bank, Commercial Bank of Qatar, Al Rayan, Doha Bank, Al Khaliji Commercial Bank, Barwa Bank, and Qatar International Islamic Bank.
