However, he caught the attention of producer Don Cannon and ASAP Mob. They signed their first mixtape, “The Real Uzi” published in August 2014.
He also published various sounds on SoundCloud produced by Metro Boomin and was featured on Fall Out Boy and Wiz Khalifa’s “Boys of Summer” tour in August 2017. His second mixtape, “Luv is Rage”, was published on October 20, 2015. HotNewHipHop named him a “breakout artist of 2015”.
He published the single “Money Longer” on his SoundCloud in 2016. The song reached No. 92 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped at No. 54.
His second record on the Billboard 200 chart was with “You Was Right”, which premiered at No. 89 in July 2016 and charted at No. 40. In the same month, he declared “The Perfect LUV Tape” his fourth mixtape.
He released his much-awaited debut studio album. “Luv Is Rage 2” in August 2017. The album charted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, was verified platinum, and built ten Billboard Hot 100 charting singles.
In December 2019, he published a new single called “Futsal Shuffle 2020.” He dropped another single, “Sasuke”, on April 24, 2020, the first one after the release of “Eternal Awake Deluxe.”
He also teamed up with Future for a joint project called “Pluto x Baby Pluto” in the summer of 2020.
Personal Life
From 2014 to 2017 he dated Brittany Byrd. She was also seen in his music video “Money Longer”.
He stated that he was quitting drugs after the death of rapper Lil Peep. After the death of XXXTentacion, he used social media to request other rappers to help him to build a foundation against gun violence.
$24 Million Diamond
He shared a video on Instagram revealing the pink diamond that he allegedly attached to his forehead on February 3, 2021. He declared it cost him $24 million.
