Is Visa Required To Enter Dubai
The requirement of visa is dependent on your country of citizenship. There is an option for visa on arrival for citizens of some countries, and others will have to apply for a visa.
Validity Period Of Visa
All visas from the date of issue until entry to the UAE are valid for 60 days, except the Transit Visa of 48-hour and 96-hour, which is valid for 30 days.
What Should Be Checked Before Traveling To Dubai
Ensure that your passport has a validity of at least six months before expiry at the time of entry. A pre-arranged visa depending on your citizenship.
Visa On Arrival
Citizens of more than 50 countries can acquire visas on arrival. Citizens of GCC countries and of the following countries can get a visa on arrival:

Indian Citizens
Some citizens of India might be eligible for a visa on arrival. These include citizens of india holding a normal passport and either:
• Visit visa issued by USA or
• Green card issued by USA or
• Residence visa issued by UK or
• Residence visa issued by EU
In such cases, Visa on arrival can be obtained for a maximum stay of 14 days, provided that validity of the visa or the green card from the date of arrival is at least six months into the UAE.
Here are other visa options you can avail of if you are not eligible for a visa on arrival.
Tourist Visa – 30-Days or 90-Days
Tourist visas to the UAE can be issued for durations of 30-days or 90-day, and are allowed single entry or multiple entries. The visa can be extended, and should be applied from inside the UAE if applying for the first time. Tourist visa for one month visa can approximately cost Dh320 and for three month visa can cost Dh720. Renewal before expiry will cost Dh600.
Transit Visa – 48 to 96 Hours
Transit visa for UAE is available for all passport holders. They can apply for a transit visa or an entry permit when they arrive in the UAE. According to the government of UAE you will need a transit visa if you are not one of the citizens of a country that is eligible for a visa on arrival entry to the UAE. This is non-extendable. Valid for 30 days from date of issue and minimum duration stay is 8 hours and maximum is 96 hours.
Multiple Entry Tourist Visa For Five Years
A new visa option has opened up for tourists who are planning to visit the UAE regularly over the next few years. Upon each visit, the tourist can stay for a period of 90 days. This can be extended further for 90 days.
