Qatar Ministry of Public Health Removes Pre-Travel Restrictions for Travelers from China, Hong Kong, and Macau

Covid restriction

The Ministry of Public Health made an announcement on its official website on March 27, 2023, stating that travellers from China, Hong Kong, and Macau no longer need to show a negative pre-travel COVID-19 PCR test result when entering Qatar.

This decision was made due to an improvement in the COVID-19 situation in the region and globally. As a result, the Ministry has removed all COVID-19 travel restrictions for these countries.

In addition, the Ministry of Public Health is encouraging the public to prioritize their health and keep up-to-date with the latest COVID-19 measures and updates both locally and internationally.
