Qatar Development Bank (QDB) Board of Directors’ terms are being renewed, and
Qatar University Board of Trustees’ terms are being restructured by Amiri Decision No 1 of
2022 issued by HH the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani
As a result of Decision No. 1,
The term of the Board of Directors of Qatar Development Bank will be extended for three years. Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari has been appointed as Chairman, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani as Vice Chairman, and Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Sayed, Suad bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Salman Kaldari, Mohamed Badr Al Sada, and Abdulaziz Ismail Faraj Al Ansari will be members.
As a result of Decision No. 2,
The Board of Trustees of Qatar University is reinstated underneath the chairmanship of HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Sheikh Dr.Abdullah bin Ali bin Saud Al Thani as Vice-chairman, and the in the membership of Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Dr. Hanan bint Mohammed Al Kuwari, Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, Dr. Saleh bin Mohammed Al Nabit, abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa, Dr. Hessa bint Sultan Al Jaber, Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Thani, Nasser Khalil Al Jaidah.
The above two decisions become effective on the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
