Do you know, it is necessary for every emigrant engineer & technician serving in Saudi Arabia to register with Saudi Engineering Council for Iqama resurrection? We have mention Saudi Engineering Council (SCE) registration rules for engineers with or without a diploma document.
Who needs SCE registration?
It is important to know that there are two levels of engineers who require SCE registration, before going any further.

Documents
- Photo
- Scanned copy of Iqama
- Scanned copy of passport
- Authorization letter of Saudi Council of Engineers
- Chamber of Commerce attested letter of introduction
- Degree attested by Saudi Embassy
- Marksheet
Fee for SCE
- Registration fee- SR 500
- Membership fee- SR 200 per year for technician & SR 250 per year for engineers
- Total fee- SR 700 for technician & SR 750 for engineers
Registration for Technician
Open the SCE link and fill your all required details and membership type. Afterward, log in to your Gmail and activate your SCE account. Once the account activates, you can log in to your SCE account.
After activating your account, you have to fill following details-
- Passport number
- Iqama number
- Iqama expiry date
- Iqama profession
After filling above details the system will retrieve the name of the employer from the Jawazat. Now you need to fill following details-
- Upload photograph
- Country of birth
- Date of birth
- Country, region, and city of residence
After completing all the steps, you have to opt for the duration of membership with the SCE. The cost of membership is-
- SR 200 per year for technicians
- SR 250 per year for engineers.
Registration for Diploma holsters
After completing all the information, the system will ask you to fill diploma certificate if you have one. After that, you have to fill following details-
- specialization
- country of graduation
- year of graduation
- name of the university/college
Now you have to upload all the necessary documents to the portal.
Letter of Introduction
You have to submit the following authorization letter from your employer to complete your registration with SCE. The letter of introduction needs to be stamped by the chamber of commerce.
Technicians without a Diploma
If you do not have any degree or diploma, but your profession is among one of the 136 professions noted below, you can fulfill the provisional registration with SCE.
However, SCE technician registration without a diploma certificate is only for 12 months. After 12 months, either you have to change the Iqama profession or acquired the relevant diploma certificate.
Once this period of 12 months is terminated, you will not be able to change your profession or renew Iqama.
Payment of SCE registration fee
You have to pay SR 500 as the registration fee. The SCE will not accept your registration until your fee is paid.
Yaqeen Verified
Yaqeen verification one the SCE account is the proof that you have successfully uploaded your Iqama, and everything is verified by the Ministry of Labor records.
Jawazat Updated
After submitting your registration fee, the SCE will begin verifying your all documents. However, they can ask for any additional documents or a cleared copy of the documents.
After verification, you will receive an SMS from the SCE to pay the membership fee. After paying the fee, the status of your account will convert to Yaqeen verified & Jawazat updated.
