We all know that the cases of omicron the new variant of COVID-19 is increasing in every part of the world. Due to this, every country takes precautions one way or another and the same precaution is taken by Saudi Arabia by making vaccination boosters mandatory for everyone.
The Ministry of Interior in Saudi has declared that all the citizens of Saudi Arabia are needed to take the Vaccination Booster by 1st February 2022. Even individuals who have completed their vaccination doses still need to take the vaccination booster to secure their immunity and show their status as ‘Immune’ on the Tawakkalna app.
Mandatory Vaccination Booster in Saudi Arabia
Although, the vaccine booster was considered to be mandatory after 8 months of the 2nd dose of the vaccine. But due to the current situation, it has been made ordered in Saudi Arabia till 1st February 2022.
Anyone attending a social, economic, commercial, cultural, scientific, entertainment, or sporting event in the country needs to have the “immune” status. People who have been prevented from taking the vaccine due to health issues and other reasons are not required to take the booster dose.
