From 4th October, England is recognizing the Qatar administrated vaccinations after the successfully pilot batch with Europe and USA. Now Qatar administrated vaccination is also included in the recognized list such as full dose of Pfizer BioNtech, Moderna or Janssen, Oxford / AstraZeneca from authentic public health authorities.
After success of UK’s Domestic vaccination rollout, To endow greater stability to travel industry and travellers Grant Shapps, The Transport Secretary announced simplified system for International Passengers on 17th September 2021
“The single red list of nations and regions” will take the place of “traffic light system”. Which will purse to be critical in order to safeguard the public health, and helps to smoothen the travel procedure for arrivals in England from the rest of the globe.
From Monday 4th October 4 am onwards, fully vaccinated passenger testing measures will also be `minimised and no longer to take PDT when you are traveling to England.
Further, England will replace day 2 test with low-priced lateral flow test to those who are eligible fully vaccinated travellers and selected group of non-red countries approved vaccination from end of October. The Passengers who are tested positive would be isolate themselves and take a confirmatory PCR TEST without any extra cost. This would be beneficial to recognize new variants.
Pre-departure tests like Day 2 and Day 8 PCR Tests are mandatory for unvaccinated travellers from non- red nations. Intention of conducing these test is to reduce self-isolation period.
England is allowing the fully vaccinated passengers from a host of new countries from 4th October 2021. They will be treated like retuning UK travellers who are fully vaccinated.
