Things to check out at Al Legtaifiya Park

Doha has many community parks and Al Legtaifiya is one of best among them. It has a vast area and clean layout that attract everybody walking into this beautiful park. The location of this park is in the residential district of Legtaifiya, Doha.

This park has a total area of over 27,500 sqm, according to the Ministry of Municipality and Environment. It is a great park for families and kids. Below we have listed some of the things you must check out here while you’re there and have a wonderful time.

Region’s first inclusive playground

This park has region’s first inclusive playground with equipment such as a swing, an accessible slide and an inclusive trampoline. The park has also facilities for physically disabled persons. Do you agree these are the amazing features? But these areas are currently closed due to the ongoing situation.

Children’s play area at the park.

The park has plenty of play equipment for kids so it’s a super fun for them. There are lot of entertainment options for kids such as slides, swing, climbing areas, trampoline, swirly slides, ramps and see-saw and other fun things. Please note that these areas are not opened due to the current situation.

The central plaza

There’s also a secret garden at the central plaza. This park is filled with many colourful and beautiful flowers and has ample seating to sit and enjoy.

Dazzling lights fountain

There’s an in-ground fountain stand right opposite to the entrance. It comes alive during the evening time. Enjoy the water dancing around and eye-catchy lighting at this wonderful attraction.

Walking and running tracks

Are you ready for a good run? There are neatly laid walking and rubber jogging tracks at this community park. It is a perfect place to keep you fit and healthy.

Expansive green area

There is a lush green carpet around the park. Covered by green patches of neatly cut and maintained lawns, this is a perfect place for sitting and relax in the cold evenings. Children can also play around and have fun here!

Play courts
