The Telecommunication giant Ooredo has announced a series of offers for this year’s Ramadan in its ‘Giving More in Ramadan’ campaign, specially designed to support its consumers during the challenging Covid-19 times as Qatar registers more than 9000 cases. The campaign has been designed to facilitate customers’ homestays easier by ensuring that everyone gets the facilities easily during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The Postpaid Qatarna 5G customers will get extra 50 International minutes along with doubled data allowances with their chosen pack. The Shahry 5G and Data SIM 5G customers will get doubled data benefits along with extra entertainment packages with beIN CONNECT vouchers, while the Ooredoo ONE customers will get the speed of their fiber connection doubled. The customers of the Prepaid Hala who will recharge during Ramadan will get their data allowances doubled along with certain bonuses depending on the recharged amount.

To make shopping easier during the lockdown in the country, Ooredo has offered discounts on the devices being purchased online through its eShop while also giving double Nojoom points with each online purchase of devices along with free home deliveries.

Ooredoo has changed the dynamics of this year’s Ramadan campaign where it will operate the campaign via its Ooredoo App to enable its customer’s participation from their homes.  In this year’s campaign, Hadaya Ooredoo has asked its customers to access their app each day and to look for ‘scratch-off’ of a blurred image in the offers section to reveal a clear picture. To win prizes, they would need to correctly identify the picture. Different images would be available every day so that the customers can return every day during Ramadan to win prizes which would change as well.

Ooredoo has been giving some comprehensive offers during Ramadan from the past many years to maintain its free flow of engagement with customers. Explaining this year’s offer amid Covid19 lockdown, Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari, Director PR at Ooredoo, said: “Ooredoo recognizes the scale of the challenges facing our customers and wider community right now. By providing the maximum digital infrastructure support for employment, education, and entertainment to be delivered at home, we hope to support people until the pandemic situation is over. Likewise, by both continuing our #StayHomeWithOoredoo provision and initiating new packages to boost value during Ramadan, we will have more to give customers in these difficult times.”
