Do you need a street light in your area as everyone needs adequate lighting in the night due to security and other reasons. Fortunately now you can request to the Road Operations and Maintenance Department of the Assets Affairs at the Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ for the free installation of street lights. You need to submit an online form to the concern department. The request can be made by individuals, companies and government entities.
Online Instructions
- First you need to log in to Ashghal Customer Zone Web Portal, then select on ‘Apply’.
- Then fill the online form by entering all the information and submit it.
Required Documents
- Applicant’s QID
- Cover letter or Official letter: Should be addressed to the department manager in Ashghal with location details and reason for the request.
- Signed Service Request Form

- Your location and reason for the request will be verified by Ashghal through the inspection. Basis on this your request would be approved or rejected.
