Aspire Park – Perfect destination for family picnic day

Want to spend a peaceful day with your family or friend? We’re sure when it comes to spending time with family, the first place comes to your mind is a beautiful and large space park. Aspire Park is one such park where you can go and relax with your family and friends. It is located in the Aspire Zone. Covered with larges green space, it has an area of eighty-eight hectares. There are trails available for running and jogging. This is also a great spot for photographers. Let know more about this famous park.

Note: As of Phase 2 of the gradual lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, gatherings in public areas, such as parks, corniche, and beaches are limited to 10 people. Playgrounds and gym equipment remain closed.

Aspire Park Lake

This park has a beautiful large lake where you can watch ducks, geese and other birds. There are also two bridges and a fountain on one of them. If you want boating, there are also pedal boats, kayaks, walking balls, and bumpy boats available for rent.

Aspire Park hill and trees

The park has also a small which is perfect for people who want to train uphill. The park has also a variety of trees. Silk floss trees are more popular, there were imported from Argentina in 2007. You can also find local trees here.

Perceval by Sarah Lucas

A bronze Shire horse sculpture, Perceval by Sarah Lucas can be found here. It is located beside the lake. It demonstrates the artist’s “propensity to re-examine everyday objects in unusual contexts.”

You can find many restaurants and cafes at this park. Some of them are Burgeri, sugar & spice, Coffeeshop Company, Starbucks and many other food stalls and food trucks.
